WHAT IS ROPE-A-DOPER?
The Rope-A-Doper is a tire dope detecting device.
The conventional methods of testing tires require considerable expense and time. The time it takes to disqualify a competitor can be days or up to a week after the race is completed.
The Rope-A-Doper allows at-the-track testing with opportunity to flag a suspect tire in 30 seconds. The track operator now has the ability to test 1 tire (or 30 tires) each night at the same cost. If the Rope-A-Doper shows signs of an altered tire, the track operator can make an informed decision if a sample of the tire should be sent to the laboratory for further scientific examination.

Credibility
Although there is no official endorsement yet, the Rope-A-Doper prototype has been used at select major karting events and for a full season at Knoxville Raceway. Not one track promoter, technical official, sanctioning body, or crew chief who viewed the machine being used has questioned its value to the industry.
Models
There are two models of Rope-A-Doper.
1) MK - Midget, Micro, Kart
2) BC - Big Car, Sprint Car, Late Model, Modified, etc.
If a BC owner wants to test kart tires also, there is a kart tire adapter stand option available.
Both models will be available for the outdoor season of 2026.
